800kWh Village Solar Power Project in Chad

TANFON has successfully completed an 800kWh village solar power project in Chad, which has officially passed government inspection and commenced operation. As one of TANFON’s showcase projects in Africa, the project demonstrates our ability to deliver large-scale solar and energy storage solutions for remote communities and challenging power environments.

The project attracted significant attention from local authorities. Following completion, high-level government delegates, including representatives from the National Power Authority, the Governor, and the Mayor, visited the project site to inspect the system and learn more about its operation and implementation.

The village solar power system is equipped with 1,000 high-efficiency solar panels and four 200kWh energy storage units, forming an integrated energy system designed to provide a stable and reliable electricity supply for the local community.

The solar panels cover an installation area of approximately 3,500 square meters. The project’s inverters, lithium battery storage system, and diesel generators occupy an additional area of approximately 400 square meters, creating a complete power generation and energy storage infrastructure.

One of the key highlights of this project is its efficient execution. TANFON’s installation team completed the installation of all solar panels in just 20 days. The commissioning and debugging of the inverters, lithium batteries, and diesel generators were completed within a further 10 days, demonstrating our strong project management, engineering, and on-site implementation capabilities.

The system combines solar power, battery energy storage, and diesel generation to create a reliable power supply solution. Solar energy provides clean electricity during the day, while the energy storage system stores excess power for later use. The diesel generators can provide additional backup when required, helping maintain power availability under different operating conditions.

Beyond supplying electricity, this project demonstrates the potential of renewable energy to improve power access for communities in areas where conventional electricity infrastructure may be limited. By combining clean solar generation with large-scale energy storage and backup generation, the project provides a practical approach to building a more stable and sustainable local energy system.

From system design and equipment supply to project installation, commissioning, and after-sales service, TANFON provides one-stop solar solutions for customers across Africa. With China-based manufacturing and pricing advantages, combined with local installation and technical support, we are committed to delivering clean, stable, and efficient energy solutions for commercial, industrial, and community projects.

The successful completion and government inspection of this 800kWh village solar project in Chad marks another important step in TANFON’s continued development of renewable energy projects across Africa.
