This project is located in Sierra Leone and consists of four 60kW solar power systems, providing a combined capacity of 240kW for a large office facility. The project is designed to provide a more reliable and cleaner electricity supply for the office’s daily operations.
For a large office, electricity is essential for a wide range of equipment, including air conditioning, lighting, computers, network equipment, communication systems, and other office appliances. A stable power supply is therefore critical for maintaining normal business operations and employee productivity.
The office previously faced the challenges associated with unreliable electricity and the need for backup power. Power interruptions can affect working efficiency and disrupt important office activities. At the same time, relying heavily on conventional backup power can increase operating costs.
To address these challenges, TANFON provided four 60kW solar systems, with a total installed capacity of 240kW. The systems are designed to make full use of Sierra Leone’s abundant solar resources and provide clean solar power for the office’s daily electricity needs.
By installing multiple 60kW systems, the project provides a larger overall power capacity while allowing the system configuration to be organized according to the office’s actual electrical demand. During the daytime, solar energy can directly supply office loads, helping reduce dependence on conventional electricity sources and backup generators.
