Tanfon Team in Bongaea, Congo, has just completed the installation of a 1 MW solar power system, equipped with 2 MWh of energy storage. The site features approximately 1,800 high-efficiency solar panels and a 40-foot integrated container housing two 500 kW inverters, along with a 500 kW diesel generator for backup power.
The system generates an average of 5 MWh of electricity per day, which is steadily supplied to the entire community through step-down transformers placed at key locations in the village, utilizing high-voltage transmission technology. The energy storage system uses top-tier Chinese battery cells, ensuring reliable performance.
This project is nearing completion and will soon provide clean energy to the local community. If you have similar requirements for solar power plants, feel free to contact us.
